Golf course at golden hour
The Origin Story

It started with a box of golf balls and a terrible idea.

Someone thought it would be funny to print Paul's name on a dozen golf balls and set them loose on the world. They were right.

Very Confused Paul

The Full Story
01

Who is Paul?

Paul is a golfer. Not a great one — but an enthusiastic one. The kind of golfer who loses more balls than he finds, who blames the wind, the lie, the club, and occasionally the sun. His friends decided to immortalise this quality by having his name printed on a hundred Titleists and distributing them quietly across golf courses, charity bags, and the occasional stranger's golf bag.

02

The Plan

The idea was simple: put Paul's name on balls, send them into the world, and see what happens. Each ball carries a small note directing the finder to this website. The hope is that finders will document their discovery, leave a message for Paul, and pass the ball on to its next adventure.

03

Why?

Honestly? Because it's funny. Because golf is a game of unexpected moments. And because Paul deserves to know that his balls have been to more interesting places than he has. Every sighting is a small story. Every finder is briefly, gloriously, part of the legend.
